Deadtech brand graphic

Branding graphic

Deadtech (2003)

Brief: Client already had a simple text-based logo for use on t-shirt labels, but needed a striking, eyecatching and unique graphic for use on promotional materials including website, flyers and stalls.

As the clothing consisted of old computer components (dead tech) attached to t-shirts and clubwear, the image was designed to appeal to a an alternative and a geek audience. The combination of technological blues and skintones in the colourscheme were intended to evoke death vs life and tech vs human. They were also the perfect inversion of one another, echoing screen select modes.

(This was my first true professional commission, and as such I still have a massive soft spot for it.)
